Canaan Yip 葉 迦 南

Canaan joined Evenly Lab from a background in social enterprise finance and grant writing. He spent three years helping community organisations in Hong Kong navigate government funding cycles, and he brought with him a deep respect for what it means to build an organisation that does not have to compromise its mission because the grant cycle ran short one quarter. Canaan 加入均研之前做緊社會企業財務同資助申請，喺香港社區組織申請政府資助循環方面累積咗三年經驗，佢帶嚟咗一種深深嘅信念：組織唔需要因為某季資助期短咗就犧牲使命，呢個先係可持續嘅做法。

His primary role is to keep Evenly Lab funded and operationally grounded — which means writing the grant applications that make the lab possible, managing the relationship with the organisations that support it, and making sure that every dollar of funding can be clearly accounted for to the people who provided it. He is the reason the team can think about the next six months instead of the next six weeks. 佢主要嘅角色係令均研有資金、營運穩健 —— 即係寫令實驗室得以運行嘅資助申請、管理支持機構嘅關係、確保每一蚊資助都能向資助方清楚交代。佢就係令團隊可以諗六個月後而非六個禮拜後嘅人。

Canaan also leads the team's reporting on social impact — not because a funder asked for it, but because the team genuinely wants to know whether A-EYE is actually making a difference in the lives of the people it was built for. He is the one who sits with the co-designers at the end of a pilot and turns their stories into the numbers that prove the model works. Canaan 亦帶領團隊嘅社會效益報告工作 —— 唔係因為資助方要求，而係因為團隊真係想知道 A-EYE 係咪真係為到佢而建嘅人嘅生活帶嚟改變。佢就係喺先導計劃結束時同共創夥伴坐低、將佢哋嘅故事轉化成數字去證明呢個模式行得通嘅人。
